I really do not know why you would want to slow FPS but it is your gig. Add more mods or start a background program that will take some of the cpu usage away....you know a program like one that launches the space shuttle or something.

The sound gauges are attenuation in dB assuming a fixed amplification. The softest is -40 dB (so, attenuated by 40 dB) and the loudest is 0 dB (so maximum output... no attenuation at all). I never thought of it as being confusing, but you're right! It certainly would be if you didn't expect it.
