I wish I had the screenies to prove it though
He said they were not ok. Red X's mean bad, not good. There needs to be a green check mark besides the exe file.

Well if you're having previous issues, then it's not GWX's fault.

As far as I'm concerned, yes, of course. Once you get it, I'm sure you'll agree.

Now once you've installed game and GWX, make sure to open JSGME which is in your Ubisoft/Silent Hunter III folder and add the options that you'd like which are already provided for you.

Then install Commander and replace the 4 cfg files which are provided from release thread and from then on, always start game with Commander. (review the readme file first)

Ops, that may be the problem, I used the Commander 2.6 and just copied those files into it.

No no Rob this won't work. You have to install SH3Cmd 2.7 and then use these files. Before you uninstall SH3Cmd 2.6 make sure you rollback to save you from having to re-install GWX

Thanks Mel. That's all it was. The game, well at least all the functions work fine. Did not start a patrol yet. I selected 16 I think for atmosphere.

Don't know what my night vision is going to be like though. I had problems with TGW at night, it was too dark.

I have re-tried the MD5 program, I ran it and I got this;

Are my files okay?
Yes, this is the outcome if you use the corrupted md5 file (the one most people have listed for d/l). The correct one is at the GWX webpage.

However, if you get the above result using the corrupted one, it's a very safe bet that the files are NOT corrupt, as the bins have ticks. The exe doesn't, because of the corrupted md5 file, but if it runs OK, then it's OK too. Basically, the chances of having a problem with d/l a 768kb file would be very slim, especially if every other piece was OK.
