Default Fond Memories

Nice photos! Reminds me of the times I spent in, around, and working out of Stavanger in the North Sea. Fond memories!

Bergen here, me and Tryggvason.
Thanks for translating that, I didn't realize that I changed the language..

Looks like most of us are from the west coast, and one from the north...and there is nothing wrong with that Seth

She can offer you a great night life, beautiful women, and $10 a beer. If this suits your taste just call Scandinavian Airlines

Except I didn't say I wouldn't be making it. I said I've made Haugesund, am making Stavanger, and am planning several other cities.

Gorgeous Ålesund might just make it in, we'll see.

It was prettier before the city fire, by the way:

Holy ... I`ve never seen that picture before! Thanks!

Oh ... and it would be alot of fun if you scripted in some Allied air attacks on German ships in Ålesund, as this amongst other things happened. Would be cool to see that from a u-boat.

It's from the Wikipedia. I liked it, too.

Another one I liked was an old painting of Bergen, with Bryggen-style buildings extending all around the harbour, not just part of one side. Beautiful.

And finally, I hereby announce a change in the way air attacks on Norwegian ports are handled in-game. Where in earlier versions you always had bombers attack the port at these and those times from this date to that date, bomber attacks on Norwegian ports are now randomized. No longer will you start a career in Bergen in January 1945 and know with 100% certainity that a flight of B-24 bombers is underway with an ETA of only a few minutes. Now there's a certain chance they'll not appear over the city at all. The system I'm using is neither the Random Area Radius nor the Random Generated Group system, but in my opinion it's far better for this purpose than both of them. Either way, the effect is that you either get attacked at the beginning of your patrol, or you don't. The following rates apply at the moment to the chance your port will be attacked by bombers at mission start:
Funny thing is GWX does it the exact same way. So much for my mod' adding something new in that respect:p.
