Hi all,

I´m using the "simfeeling mod" which really does what the name promises: you have a HUD-free view, but the gauges you need slide out (big-sized!) and you can easily give orders. It´s a bit messy to install, but it is worth the while and only takes about 10 minutes or so.

I use the 6 dials mod which an NYGM optional mod, and my old eyes love these big things. Most practical is the compass with 2 dials, the external one moving giving the true bearing and the fixed internal giving the relative bearing. The rudder gauge has also a little window on top showing true bearing. A super job...

Same here. '6-Dials Simfeeling Mod'; nothing onscreen until you call it up, huge dials to look at when you want them...what could be better?

Quick off topic question, is GWX an add on, or is it stand alone?

Not sure what you mean. It's an 'Add-On' in that you need SHIII and the 1.4b patch, but it's a 'Stand-Alone' in that no other mods are needed with it.

I hope that covers it.

If you havent used any of the major mods it might be worth it playing it first
GWX is a huge step up from GW1.1 let alone the stock game

Hey Seth, I don't mind your info about the signature at all. Can you tell me what are the dimensions are supposed to be and I'll try to resize it, but I'm going to have problems getting it back in 'cause the change signature seems to give me a problem in that I don't seem to be able to get at the coding in order to change it.

Thanks
Rob

Just one example how to use it. So you can do things without being forced to stay or go back to peri/uzo view to see the ETA

Matey, dont mean to be hars, but you should look at your sig size before some of the moderators see it....
:hmm:
What´s wrong with it?
Prost!
CT

EDIT:Ok well its a bit too wide and few millimeters too high...but its fit in without harrasing the forum size or anything...I´ll edit it when I get to it after work tomorrow morning...
Cheers for pointing that out. Didn´t realize it was so strict..I just thought that as long as it doesn´t make the threads go crazy it is ok.

@ Rob

Nothing - your sig is fine mate

@ Cpt Thorne

Yours is too wide and high

Rules IIRC are 120 high by 400

Just resize it a bit

Thanks for the confirmation bigboywooly. Now I don't have to worry about resizing it.
