Follow your torps with the 3D? Well, I tried that back in 688I and wound up using it as my main guidance system for the Mk48!

Never used the 3D as a guidance system for my torps either in SC or DW. I use the weapons control station for that. You can't see that far ahead in 3D to be able to spot the target and guide you torps towards them. Never had 688I so I can't compare.
