Death Toll - Iraq... - Page 2

You know, I am amazed by the Death Toll the papers keep reporting on Iraq. Saw this morning that one paper reported that we hit the worst ever - 101 this month. Isn't that amazing the progress we have made? Try that back during the Vietnam conflict and you can easily add another 1000+ to that number! Want to talk WWII?

Soon, in the future, that number will drop to almost nothing as our robotic soldiers come online. If 101 is the worst that can happen to us with a couple hundred thousand targets for the enemy to choose from on the ground out there, then nothing can touch us from these pathetic people.

Anyway, 101 lives is 101 lives, and each one is important, but technology has saved 10's of thousands of additional lives that what would have been lost in the past, and I am appreciative for our hard working engineers for keeping them safe!

Just my thoughts for the day.
