The same company who makes that model also makes a Type VII model, and it is considered one of the finest submarine models in the world. All for only £1,650.00
Wow, wow, is all I can say.

Quite a few years ago I was a member of the Model Submariners Society in the UK and was the proud owner of a British WWII S Class Submarine (a little over 2m long). These radio controlled models dive and handle just like their original big brothers...sadly I mislaid the photos I had way back.

I'd do like those modellers did in the video someone posted a while back and rig the deck gun to shoot BBs.

I'd love to set that up, get a replica white Kaleun hat and sail that thing around the local park pond, shouting commands to my invisible crew in German, sinking kids toy boats and pelting ducks in the butt. I'd be the scourge of the high seas. Well...scourge of the park anyways.

Very nice model !!

a bit expensive but see this in a pool could be a great experience.

But be careful if you go out to a public pool , sea or river, you could have to scream
!!ALAARMMMMMMMM! if you see this thing flying around.

imagine that it drop depth charges and blow up your nice model

HOLY SH1T! When I talked about how great it would be I never actually THOUGHT it had already happened.

Hey. Know what would suck? A premature detonation of a depth charge thats still attached to the plane.

Now THAT would suck.
