it is all fixed, thank God for that
There is a little downtime right now (4am 8am EST) as the datacenter is working on their network, All posts are saved and the forum is 100% useable, there will be some minor changes made here and there still.

It's offline again for some more tweaking (I think), but I had a look, and the colors man.....the colors!
Great work.

Any word on what's up with the forum again? It's been down for me for the last couple of days. Getting another error.

Actually, it's back up, and has been for a couple of days now.
Try these links: http://forum.tidesofwar.net/index.php http://forum.tidesofwar.net/index.php?showforum=71 Make sure to clear your cache if you still have problems.

EDIT: Well that didn't work. It got me into all the forums, but I can't post replies. Even though it says I'm logged in, I get a broken link message when I hit the "Quote" to reply to a message. I'll do some more research. Unless one of you guys have a simple answer. Cache is cleared and cookies cleared here. timetraveller |

Okay, I use Firefox. I've reinstalled it so everything is brand new (no cookies, login info etc.). I click on the Tides of War link first time ever and I get all the forums listed out, nice. Then I log in for the first time. It logs me in. Then I click on a forum (like Enigma), and I get this screen: Then I exit, close browser, etc. Each time after that when I click on the original Tides Of War link it sends me to this page now: Not sure what's going on. Or how to get out of this last page and to the forum list page. timetraveller |

By the way, a fresh copy of Internet Explorer, cookies deleted, cache cleared, does the same thing.

I had this trouble before when the board skins changed. Seems like I was able to get around it by changing the skin back to the original skin i used to have. I don't see a way to change skins now. Could this be it??

Not sure, but I do remember seeing the same screen just before I was able to view all the forums.
Did you happen to delete the standard TOW board cookie too? (I had to delete both)

Yes, I've deleted all cookies. When I do that, and then go to the tidesofwar.net link, I do get to the boards list and I can view posts. However, I am not initially logged in yet, of course. Then I log in. The log in works, but then sends me to the Board Statistics page: I can't get out of here without an error (all links produce errors). And, I can't see a way to get back to the forums from here. None of the buttons on the bottom work, either. TT |

And if I actually go to the forums before logging in (remember, I have to start with cookies cleared even to get there), and then try log in while in the Enigma forum (any forum, like Captain's Quarters, etc.), the login succeeds, but then sends me to this error page:
