On our way back to Wilhelmshaven we ran across a Type VII in the North Sea, and ran with them for a bit until they changed course heading to the Baltic.

Thanks Jim. I worked hard to get it setup just right for the right angle. This is a raw untouched screenshot. It's the first time I've thought of doing a shot like this and was able to do it. It gives you that cozy wolfpack kind of feeling. LOL

Got one more I wish was better. Never came across one of these before, let alone getting the chance to sink one. Noooo, not a whale. LOL Coming up in a bit.

I sank a British sub on 12/28/1939 at 01:32. Showed as a U Class Submarine of 540 tons. Location: 01°49'W-62°58'N. During all the time I've played SH5 I've never run across nor seen one. Torpedos wouldn't touch it, but the deck gun did with 12 AP & HE rounds.

That and sinking an HMS Nelson Class Battleship made it a memorable patrol.
