Unfortunately due to the fact that the engine introduced to the total war franchise starting with Empire isn't moddable to extent that RTW & M2TW are, Darthmod basically changes every facet of the game the modders can get their hands on and really turns ETW from an unplayable mess to something rather enjoyable.

(Unfortunately though there is a Darthmod for Shogun 2 it still doesn't make the game worth the 6 dollars I paid for it and I'm definitely never buying a Creative\Corrupt Assembly game again until they learn to make modability an important focus)

Personally wouldn't know as I don't have Rome-TW. What Rilder says. I found ETW vanilla hard to get to grips with but Napoleon-TW a little easier. Once I got DM though I've not looked back. I agree with your approach to run a campaign in stock until you get the hang of the controls and unit capabilities. In campaign mode it's very important to look after your economy, trade and diplomacy, even more so in NTW than ETW.

I always make them the priority before embarking on any really heavy military action, though knocking a few small fry on the head early can assist your economy as well, depending on which faction you are playing.

What does a guy have to do to earn a Gold Star HSU around here? What the NKVD wants to interrogate me?

Actually this match lasted 135 minutes

and there where two other players with over 200 kills and several other humans on both sides.For some reason people kept leaving the match.I wanted the AVT40 level 50 and MG34 level 50 so I stayed the entire match.

I suck at most other FPS and my K/D ratio is usually less than 1 with RO2 my K/D ratio is 4.0 in RO2 it is nice to be the dominating player for once.

Yeah I have a 1.10 K/D ratio (think my best was about 110 kills in a game), but then I always get put on a derp team where no one knows what smoke is, and the commander forgets he can use this thing called artillery. Also 135 mins? Never seen a custom map last that long.

*what server? I tend to stick to the 2nd FJg servers.

I am not really sure if it was really as long as I stated a round or so may have been cut shorter the one the Axis won.It was a long time though and I had enough of RO2 for a few days after that.

I tend to avoid 2FJ myself they tend to be funny about kicking people for no apparent reason.I have been kicked session banned actually for ? I had no TKs or anything.

The only thing I can think of is I changed sides more than once but every player was doing the same. They also tend to make the maps too short points wise.I like to see an ebb and flow the chance that a match last 3 rounds should be good.

At 2FJ the admins seems very annoying and they seem to dislike being out played by non members.And to think they name themselves after the WWII Fallshrimjager the type of men that would never have backed down from a challenge aren't you supposed to try and imitate what you admire?
