The artist apparently made them just for SH5, but they're not freely downloadable. Would need to get permission to use them.

Why crowfunding a Type IX model, when we already have models but we have no tools to import them in game?

Why not crowdfund to buy the copyright of the whole game off ubi? SH5 is a really promising game, having many great features, but they f'ed up so much. It's pathetically full of bugs. I am sure the fan community can rectify many of these bugs and make it a truly awesome game.

Than how bout a partition asking UBI to at the very least build one last patch to include the missing boats...hell, they can throw in some eye candy Call it an add on for $11,95.

I hate to say it guys but this effort should be put forth into Uboot. The devs already released the SDK and have given the community modding tools. The game is rough around the edges as far as a simulator goes but it has so much potential with the framework that has been laid. You will never get to see flooding volumetric flooded compartments, food stores, updated graphice with a great game engine, and an easily modable exprience in SH5. If we has 1/2 of the modding communities effort that went into SH3 Uboot would be the last uboat game you would ever need or want.

I really hope some modders switch over to uboot. It has so much going for it I cant believe its not more popular..
