Some cool stuff be in this thread

A few of mine--two from June, one from today.

I didn't finish-finish this one, but the idea's there. The stick sticking out from the vertical stabilizer: I was mulling over the idea of aerials for radar-warning receivers, etc, but that fizzled.

Colourized Mary here for kicks. Still not quite sure if I changed the look in her eyes or not.

And today, a bored-to-death sketch. The Catapult was supposed to be kind of standing in water, but to be honest, I just didn't want to draw the legs; as well, I'm thinkin' Spy vs Spy.

While I found that hilarious, please refrain from posting other's work. This thread is to show work of your own.

A British HDML (Harbour Defence Motor Launch).
Didn't model the guns nor the depth charge racks as I didn't care about the damage model so far.

Very nice Alex ^^^ love it!

Finished this a little while ago but never ended up putting on any pics.

The Turbinia, built in 1894 was the first steam turbine powered vessel in the world. Versions of it's engines went on to power the Lusitania, Mauretania and HMS Dreadnought.

My first attempt at modelling a real world vehicle, I tried to get it as accurate as possible but I could only find very basic low res plans, plus the 2 sets of plans I had seemed to differ both with each other and the actual vessel as it is now. I managed to get some half decent reference pics though. Also, anyone with a keen eye will probably notice there is one too many windows on the bridge :p annoyingly I somehow only noticed after I'd finished and just couldn't be arsed to change it.

Today, in Newcastle's Discovery Museum (which isn't that far from me so I really should try and visit lol).

The rather unusual screws

The Model, rendered in 3ds Max and Vray:

Probably have a few more to upload soon, and I've got a fresh Poser render on it's way
