I have smoke when a ship is afire, but no stack smoke. As far as I know, nothing has been 'switched off' though.

So to answer your original question: smoke shouldn't be linked to mods, they are supposed to be there by default as far as I know.

Thanks for that, no, I do not get smoke from stacks and certainly no visible at a distance. Or should I say I do get smoke, but relatively little considering they were coal burning etc.

Greater damage created by adding torpex mod with Mk 23 torps to RSRDC TMO 170 V411 Initial torp stopped her dead in the water, took 2 to sink her.

Thanks for your feedbacks, guys! I always appreciate it.
Non-standard size of my paintings is simply explained: I draw loading screens for russian community. Original loading screens SH4 - 1024x512: when I work, I use size 2048x1024, and then proportionally reduced for web-publishing.
I hope when I finish, I will return to the U.S. and German boats. But not soon: too much work now.. @Vandrith, I had to crop the image to fit in the resolution of 1280x1024 pixels, as you ask. Also I have translated the names of constellations into Latin, and added a sextant. Hope you like it. With sextant (3D model sextant made not by me, I just took it from here: Sextant by *bartolomeus) Cheers! P.S. I have a some PM questions like this one: why I can't see original size of your link on deviantArt.com? Answer here: Hope it helps. |

tei, I greatly apprecitate your up-sizing (It's definetly gonna replace this guy, if only for a little while
(The great thing about it is that it blew up to 1280x1024 really nicely!) Unfortuately, my Big-Brother-Is-Watching-You internet security blocks imageshack and I'm not the admin. (The downsides of being young-ish) So tei, if it isn't too much trouble could you PM me the full sized images?
