Yes, Battery range decreased between 75% & 20% simulating worn out batteries, malfunctioning charging system or e-motors drawing excessive power is modelled.

Question regarding the Map that SubCommander 2.6.1 uses when selecting grid options for your next patrol. Where is the map located and is it possible to change that image? I have a Grid map from ingame that I would like to use.
Thanks! BTW: Fantastic utility - could not play without it. |

<blush>
Ability to view the SH3 Grid Map Uses SH3_MAP.jpg located in your Silent Hunter III documentation folder. You can replace this file with any map of your choice - just use the same file name; </blush> By god, it sure does tell all ![]() Thanks! |

*sigh*
i installed GWX (installer hanged when it wanteed to create the desktop icons) but gwx worked fine. no errors all mods i wanted enabled and then i went on playing. Then i thought ok sh3 commander is stable, so ill install that to, including the gwx3 config files. I set up my carrier and did not check the historical box as the documentation from gwx suggested. Now i finished a patrol. And went as the game suggested 5 days after the patrol back. closed sh3, then sh 3 commander seemed to hang... (i enabled roll back on sh3 exit). few hours later i closed sh3 commander and launched it again to try a rollback ... i see a message "copying files but actually harddisk is not working".... I understand that it's all fan made, but what i dont understand is that there are no error messages i can work with. I don't see what iam doing wrong and then Gwx installer hangs at the end (still ok or not?) then sh3 commander hangs (great now i cannot rollabck to my old version because I dont know what the thing changed...) Could that be all vista user permissions? rgds and sorry for the rant - i know that the makers really put a lot of thought time and effort in these tools and they are great, probably iam just to stupid to use them ![]() PS: probably the important thing is now, on how to rollback manually... if that is possible. Backup folder in sh3 commander is empty with the folders data/roster being present... |

Which version of SH3 Commander do you use it? The current version is 3.2! And why do not write your question in the SH3 Commander 3.2 "Sticky"- Thread here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...147237&page=12 ? Best regards, Magic |

Thanks for your response.
Probably I didn't see it there andyes maybe the other thread would be better. I reinstalled now all again from admin rights and on a clean folder the gwx installation succeeded without an error the 2nd time. So somewhere I must have done something unexpected before. Now I have installed SH3 commander (the latest version, I had it before too), but I did not try it out yet. And I am not sure if I should ![]() One question: In stock sh3 when I start the "diesel" engines (1/3 ahead etc) I hear them clearly. When GWX is installed I hear them only in the "outside" view. As I said I did not tinker with the TC settings this time and the previous "SH3 own document files" were deleted. I will check also the SH3 cmdr. thread for infos ![]() Thanks again! |
