Yeah. Well, if the pass had been for a TD, PC would be a genius...

You know, that's what makes the game great--throughout 59 minutes it's all about the Lynchs, the Bradys, the Shermans and Wilsons...but when the ultimate moment comes, it's an undrafted rookie who rises to save the day. A true team sport.

What I think is odd is the fact that the Patriots number 21 was involved in the circus catch that almost won the game for Seattle.

Is his name Butler I think? He said his mother back in Mississippi said that she had had a vision of him making a very important play in the game.

That sure came true

This is what Bill has to say about it...

Quote:
"There has been a lot of criticism that I don't think is anywhere close to being deserved or founded," Belichick said Tuesday during his weekly appearance on sports radio WEEI in Boston. "That football team is very good, very well-coached, and Pete does a great job. "Malcolm and Brandon [Browner], on that particular play, just made a great play. I think the criticism they've gotten for the game is totally out of line and by a lot of people who I don't think are anywhere near even qualified to be commenting on it."
Belichick also shared empathy for the Seahawks' heartbreak.
"I wouldn't be able to say enough about Seattle. They're a great football team, well-coached. They deserve so much credit for what they've done, and how well they've done it," he said on the program.
"I know they are disappointed, as we've been in that spot a couple times ourselves. So the high that we feel is probably not as high as the low that they feel. But that's a really good football team."

Of course he says that. His team benefited from Carroll's idiotic playcalling.

Now just to survive work. It's my Monday....

My take on it, they (the Seahawks) have had so many miraculous calls/plays go their way, they were due for a bone head call.

Yeah they did benefit but he didn't have to say anything. Besides Belichick isn't the kind of guy to give fake praise.

@ August, so what to you think will happen with deflategate? I'm going with my blackhelicopter theory that it was a manufactured scandal for superbowl hype. Two weeks from now, all will be forgotten.

I don't know. Every day it seems like there is less and less substance to the story. For instance now I understand that the only ball that was 2lbs down was the one the Colts intercepted (interesting in itself). The other 10 ranged from about a pound down to just under the line and that the Refs never gauged them before the game like they were supposed to.

If true I think the Pats won't be so willing to take the blame like they did in Spygate.

No. Just No. Do not turn the NFL into the Ore-gone Ducks. (different uniform combination/design every week)

Take your art/fashion degree and go somewhere else.
