Well, have we looked at just how much we can strip from a ship if it is going to be sitting still in port.

Particle generators, sound sources, the AI controller, if its an SH4 ship reflections, hmmmm.

Also, the new texture for the SH4 guns is in this mod. I plan to work on it further, this is just a start.

I am going to go ahead and import the NKSCS_Taihosan if no one has any objections to that.

I'll look it more tomorrow, and spy the wake sound effect. I noticed one thing that may be an issue, and that is the Sh 4 texture files. SH 5 has the exactly same textures (same name too) in it's tex folder, so will this overwrite SH 5 guns? If it does, I'm quite sure we can somehow go around it.

Zedi, do you need the zones file in your campaign mod? The one you use is very much different than in TDW's FX update and takes away many nice things. You can check it with Winmerge program and see the difference.

Have to admit that I was thinking it would probably look pale in color like some of the earlier test ships being imported. It looks excellent and looking forward to spotting her in a convoy.

Okay, the Taihosan is almost done. Just a few things to tweak yet. Will definitely have it finished some time tomorrow.

And, then I will start on another ship.

Edit: The Taihosan should really bring a touch of realism as it is the small kind of ship you are looking for Zedi, as its tonnage is low.

Small is under 5k. Take randomly any uboat log and see their tonnage.. only in rare occasion they have sunk ships over 5k, most of hits were on 2-3k ships.

Wish I could have an answer. We plan to add a new campaign, nothing sure yet.. just thinking about. But be sure, I also wanna finish this mod asap because it already took too much time.

I edited my last post because I am showing in the .cfg much lower than that. How do we know which tonnage to go with?
