Well, if I didn't have to take the wife on a week long cruise last week, I would have already been playing GWX 2!

Downloading today!

Thanks to everyone on the GWX development team.

P.S. Don't tell my wife. I can't afford another cruise right now.

When I select F2 for the control room, I always get the Chief standing behind the observation scope. Is there a way around this problem?

All I would like is to say THANK YOU to all the modders and GWX team that develop this super mod, and THANK YOU to other modders as well that cover many areas of this fantastic game.

Upgrade to a different sub! I think it's just the layout of the IIA (IIRC)

Cheers,

Hi,
I noticed the value of the AI_Visual Max Range is 30000.
Isn't this to much?
I guess the old value was around 8000?
How can I change it?

DO NOT CHANGE IT.

Just because a cfg in SH3 says something does not mean that it is the exact setting used in game, there are other hidden settings that are used. It's a very fine balancing act and while the AI_Visual Max Range seems high (in the cfg) it is not the real figure.

You will break the game if you edit this value.

I have a little issue with GWX 2.0. I've started in 39 with an IXB and when i'm on the bridge or in free view, there is flashing triangular or hexigonal figures which frequently flash on and off the screen in the lower sky near the water. What causes that? and is there anything I can do about it?

I did a reinstall once and the same is still occuring by the way. Game issue or Video driver/settings issue?

Mine does the same. I just assumed there was some sort of mismatch or problem with the graphics used to make up the sky, since I was using a higher res than the game was tested to support.

Cheers,
Stephen
