Football fan banned from matches until 2026 after Premier League conduct four-month 'stasi' probe into her social media posts criticising transgender ideology - despite police saying she did not commit a crime

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...mit-crime.html

Newcastle United and the Premier League have gone Nuts.

As this is a new development on the football front I decided it deserved a special mention in this thread.

Murderers, Rapists and Paedophiles are Welcome but, mention anything to do with Transgender Ideology and you get banned for a couple of seasons, this insidious condemnation of anyone who disagrees with this Gender Ideology has gone too far and its time for the Government to do something about it.
And all this bollocks from Saudi Arabian owners who actively class women as third class citizens and who killed thousands of workers building their World Cup Stadiums No, no, no, that was Qatar you bloody muppet, oh the bleeding Irony. These bastards need booting out of the country but, money talks and common sense gets put in a Rubbish Bin so that isn't going to happen any time soon.

It doesn't stop Newcastle United's Reputation from being trashed though does it?.

Edit.
I thought the red part was wrong at the time I wrote it, I must have had a brain lapse, it happens.
Any way its still true, Saudi Arabia is a Muslim country and if you go visiting that place and start spouting Transgender nonsense you'll be arrested and thrown in a cell within minutes, so, which of you Transgender idiots are going to be first then.
What!, nobody.

Default QPR legend Stan Bowles dies aged 75

Quote:
QPR legend Stan Bowles has died aged 75 with the club paying tribute by calling him "one of QPR's greatest players".

Bowles started his career as an apprentice at Manchester City, later joining Fourth Division Crewe and then Carlisle.

After signing for QPR in 1972, Bowles went on to make 315 league appearances, scoring 97 goals over seven seasons, and was part of the team which finished runners-up to Liverpool in the old First Division under Dave Sexton in 1975-76.

1. In the 1400s a law was set forth in England that a
man was allowed to beat his wife with a stick no
thicker than his thumb. Hence we have 'the rule of
thumb.'
2. Many years ago in Scotland , a new game was
invented. It was ruled 'Gentlemen Only..
Ladies Forbidden'... and thus the word GOLF entered
into the English language
3. Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a
great king from history:
Spades - King David,
Hearts - Charlemagne
Clubs -Alexander the Great,
Diamonds - Julius Caesar
4. In Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured
on bed frames by ropes. When you pulled on the
ropes the mattress tightened, making the bed firmer
to sleep on. Hence the phrase........ 'goodnight,
sleep tight.'
5. It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000
years ago that for a month after the wedding, the
bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all
the mead he could drink.
Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was
lunar based, this period was called the honey month,
which we know today as the honeymoon
6. At the start of every football season Sunderland fans claim they are a massive club, and are going to win promotion do the double over Newcastle, hence the phrase 'deluded

'One of the greatest FA Cup moments ever... RUINED': Coventry City see 121st-minute 'winner' in Wembley semi-final against Man United chalked off by VAR 'because a toenail was offside', leaving fans sickened

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...joy-sport.html

This VAR needs a complete overhaul, get rid of everything except goal line technology, did the ball cross the line or did it not?, that should be all VAR does, all the rest should be left to the referee and the linesmen\women.
I watch the odd game here and there but I barely watch half of the match, why is that?, VAR and its sterile atmosphere, football was great once upon a time but, this VAR system has sucked the life out of it.

VAR is definitely killing the game and assisted the corrupt Premier League in getting precisely what they wanted....an all Manchester final.

Very few people believed us/TOON about said corruption when Saudi PFI made us the richest owned club in the world shortly thereafter creating FFP.

Add on to that what has happened to Everton and Forest recently yet Chelsea and Man city (the latter with over 100 possible rule infringements) yet to be addressed!!!

Wayne Rooney's disaster debut compounded as Plymouth staff member's howler spotted

https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...error-33444589

When will Rooney realise that he's not got what it takes to be a coach or manager, more importantly, when will the owners of these clubs realise that he hasn't got it either.

Sacked before Christmas at this rate, depending on how ambitious the board are he could be gone before Halloween.

That well established football thread is old news, it's 168 pages long and none of it's relevant to season 2024, you might like living in the past old bean, but most of the members prefer to live in the present.

Date set for hearing into Man City's 115 Financial Fair Play charges

Quote:
The highly-anticipated hearing into Manchester City’s 115 alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules is set to begin very soon.

The charges have been hanging over City for years – a dark cloud that has overshadowed their historic success in the Premier League and Champions League.

Now, the matter looks set to finally be resolved with The Times reporting that the hearing will begin in mid-to-late September, around two months earlier than expected.

The date has been moved forward because the outcome of City’s separate case against the Premier League is set to be revealed in the next two weeks. Once that matter is finished, the hearing into the alleged breaches can begin.

The Citizens launched legal action against the top-flight back in June, shortly after winning their fourth straight league title, in an attempt to get rid of the Associated Party Transaction (APT) rules.
They believe the rules, introduced in 2021, to be unlawful and discriminatory, and it is said that City have ‘achieved some successes in the arbitration hearing’.

But if fans and other clubs were hoping for a swift conclusion to the FFP saga they’re in for a nasty shock, as this hearing is scheduled to take around 10 weeks, pending any further legal delays.

Man City's 115 alleged breaches explained
54 alleged breaches for failure to provide accurate and up-to-date financial information from 2009-10 to, and including, 2017-18.

14 alleged breaches for failure to provide accurate financial reports for player and manager compensation from 2009-10 to, and including, 2017-18.

5 alleged breaches for failure to comply with UEFA’s regulations, including UEFA’s Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.

7 alleged breaches of the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability regulations from 2015-16 to, and including, 2017-18.

35 alleged breaches for failure to cooperate with Premier League investigations from December 2018 to present.

Members of the independent commission are therefore expected to deliver their verdict at the start of 2025.

If found guilty, the club could face a points deduction or even relegation if the most serious charges are proved.

Last season, Everton and Nottingham Forest were deducted eight and four points respectively for breaching Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

City have always denied any wrongdoing.

Sunderland opt out of League Cup in fear of drawing Newcastle United again

Quote:
Sunderland achieved their objective on Tuesday night.

The Mackems making sure there was no chance of having to face Newcastle United this month.

The fear was very real after the humiliation Sunderland suffered at home to Newcastle seven months ago in the FA Cup, a match where the Mackems struggled to get out of their own half, never mind threaten the NUFC goal, as Eddie Howe’s side strolled to a very easy 3-0 away victory.

Tuesday night seeing a very tame 2-0 away defeat to Preston, Sunderland exiting in the first round of the League Cup before Newcastle United even enter the competition.

To be fair, this isn’t exactly a new thing, as this makes it four times in six years that the Wearsiders have exited in the first round of the League Cup, before NUFC enter the draw. The same in the FA Cup, four of the last six seasons seeing the Mackems out of the competition before Newcastle entered at the third round stage.

The draw for this season’s second round of the Carabao/League Cup is tonight, it will take place after 10pm tonight, following the Leeds v Middlesbrough match. There are two other games played tonight as the first round concludes, with Hull v Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth v Cheltenham.

There will be 50 teams in the draw tonight but with the competition at this stage seeing the clubs split into north and south, there would have been an enhanced chance of Sunderland drawing Newcastle United, if they hadn’t opted out.

Four-time winners Nottingham Forest have been drawn at home to Newcastle in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

The match at the City Ground is one of two all-Premier League ties with West Ham United also facing top-flight opposition in the shape of Bournemouth.
