Can tell you I'm going to watch a good movie on Netflix instead, sorry does not have the nerve to see the match.

I will know the result afterward in one way or other.

If i'm been brigged then I know why..if Jim is in a very good mood then I know why.

It really seemed the referee wanted to extend the game until England got the second goal

As expected Denmark lost the semifinal and as said by Jim it will be
England - Italy in the final.

I think England will make it.

You lost to a dubious penalty decision from an Olympic diving champion Markus.

I read about it in the news after the Extra time.
The keeper toke the penalty, but Kane was fast and made goal on the return.

Tough game Markus, Denmark can be proud of that performance. Some of the officials decisions were questionable both ways round. I could say more but its late goodnight God bless

Usually I would be with Italy in this final, but England is so long overdue - its time they score a title. I will clap hands for England this weekend.

Cant comment on the match today, I did not watch. It seems there was some disputed decision!?

Just watched a video of the "foul". That was no penalty. The ref screwed up. Was no video evidence checking done in this case? Its superobvious.

Super obvious is the key word in your comment, VAR did its check and under the rules the was no clear and obvious error by the referee but they should have recommended that the ref should of reviewed the video evidence. Very early in the game I was more worried about the refs decisions than the threat from the Danes who performed heroically. to give the ref the benefit of the doubt I've seen a short clip of the incident from a reverse view ( roughly the refs view) and it does look like Sterling was brought down but goal side at best was not so obvious to me

In my opinion VAR got this wrong you see a lot in the English premier league. As far as the whole game goes England was the better team the Danes were struggling to contain England and looked tired were running out of ideas played their subs too early and made it difficult for themselves.

As someone who is very much up for fair play I'm glad England won. On reflection they were the better team but the manner they won I'm not so happy with. This highlights the pitfalls with VAR and this was not the only example of how its flawed in this competition

I said superobvious, and I include video anaylsis in it, because that is what they have implemented it. I did not watch the match and do not comment much on the ref, I saw a small video from the German TV broadcast, and I thought "hu?". But then they showed the same scene from the other side of the action, and that si what the video ref must have seen as well - and then it was super-dooper-obvious.

If they implement video eviodence for football matches and then such decisions ike that are the result, they can dismantle it again, because then it is useless. That penalty should not have been with video analysis on.

I read the Danish internet is erupting with fire and lava. I can understand them. The match was stolen from them.

Again, I do not comment on the teams performances and on the ref's full match performanc , I have not seen it. But this penalty was what decided the match. And it should not have been given, there is no excuse for it. Video should have corrected it. Thats what they implemented it for.

Total system failure, maximum damage possible.

I also read that the English did not play too well? And that in that shape the Italians just will have a light breakfast with them?

I think my assessment is fair and balanced and the general consonance was England performed way better. On the day one of the marked differences was the goal keepers. Apart from the Penalty Schmeichel performed well Pickford was uncharacteristically awful with multiple string on unforced errors. There was also a short period of panic in the England squad mid field in particular but they did recover and show they can come from behind. I'm sure lessons will be learned from this and there will be no "light breakfasts"

Simon

I've stumbled across this video, this is more of less my sentiments
