I think you just find the German Language sound scary, I find them sound pretty much the same which is good...can't say the same for the other characters

currently finishing another playthrough (Ilos) with a Defualt setup Shepard (John Shepard, Soldier Class, Survivor)
reaching level 50 done all the side missions I could find and shaped him the way I would choose things so currently its around 70 - 80 % paragon and around 50 % Renegade.

Oh god, they pronounce the names in a German way.
The entire voice acting sucked pretty much (a common problem with dubbed video games in Germany). I know why I'm always trying to get an English version of games.

BTW I was also somewhat disappointed with ME2.
There were so many things that didn't make sense and after passing the Omega 4 really it really fell apart. Injection tubes that are retracting their armor after you fought a bunch of baddies just to cover the surviving tubes again and send in the next bunch of baddies, rinse and repeat. Oh come on, that would have made sense in something like Duke Nukem but not in a game that I am supposed to take seriously.
A three eyed skeleton? Was that supposed to be somewhat creepy or something? To top it of it was always moving in the same pattern all the time.

Well the games was pretty good over all, but it could have been so much better.

Yeah some bits had a arcade feeling to it, like the Mass Effect core in the derelict Reaper...that opens, you hit it , closed, fight a wave of husks and repeat....best way to deal with it is to get the M-920 Cain (that nuclear heavy weapon) when you enter the room do not move the core will stay open 1 hit and it's done.

perhaps Me3 will have the best of both according to the Mass Effect Wikia about the early game play reveal:

Gameplay
As Mass Effect 3 is still early in development, only gameplay development goals have been outlined publicly, and these are subject to change.

In a presentation by Lead Gameplay Designer Christina Norman, at the Game Developer's Conference in March 2010, titled Where Did My Inventory Go? Refining Gameplay in Mass Effect 2, Norman outlined her goals for Mass Effect 3.These included:
  • Richer RPG features.
  • More combat options.
  • More complex enemies.
While Norman also noted that "nobody liked" the mining mechanic in Mass Effect 2, Casey Hudson later stated in an interview that mining will not be abandoned completely in Mass Effect 3, but acknowledged concerns about its speed and that the game relied upon it too heavily in parts of the story.
In an interview with PC Zone magazine in August 2010, Casey Hudson stated that Mass Effect 3 will continue, with adjustments, the approach of Mass Effect 2 by focusing on "an awesome sense of exploration, intense combat, a deep and non-linear story that's affected by your actions, and rich customisation of your armour, weapons and appearance" instead of an approach where the player "(equips the) hero by sifting through an inventory of hundreds of miscellaneous items and spend hours fiddling with numerical statistics", noting the "overwhelmingly positive" response Mass Effect 2 received for its approach.
Vehicle based exploration may make a return in Mass Effect 3. Casey Hudson has indicated that the vehicle exploration segment of the Mass Effect 2 DLC pack Overlord was an attempt at addressing issues players had with the exploration segments in the original Mass Effect, and lessons learned from its implementation will be used to implement similar segments in Mass Effect 3.

You have the Cerberus network key?

go to http://social.bioware.com/home.php

(create a account if you haven't done that yet, but I think you already have on since you also got the ''Bring down the sky'' DLC content for Mass Effect)

if you're done with that, just log in and put the cerberus key into ''redeem promo code'' under profile and after that the DLC you've unlocked will show in ''Your registered Game promotions''

Hmm, well, ME3 will hopefully use the best from both games (tho they really need to work on the emotions I beleive, a good example would be the people being taken by the collecters, you are never given a chance to feel sorry for them).

I hope they let you fight the real enemy more, In the 2nd game you only fight the Collecters three times. I dont know, and the Merchs didnt feel like a threat and my Vanguard shepard felt much weaker. (no throw, no barrier.) and also the fact that everyone has armor that biotics do not work seem to work on.

I know I died afiew times because of the new aamo system, and running out.
I still like this Idea instead of the aamo thing. and have a vehicle with decent controls.

Or if they don't get rid of the ammo system, at least give us some freakin pouches to put more magazines in It's ridiculous how little ammo you can carry at a time.

Hmmm... I have a feeling that some of the stuff (the Ghost Ship parts)in this may have a part in ME3. (and is quite intresting to read)

*"where's that bloody thread... Ah!*

Right, might have picked up on the news of upcoming DLC: it's official, and aparently the last one. This particular release is an attempt to bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3;
Quote:
Entitled “Arrival”, the new adventure will see Shepherd sent to the “border of the galaxy” “to rescue a female undercover agent that might have evidence for an upcoming Reaper invasion”.
