Just fooling around in Blender, couldn't figure out how to make the wing smooth without smoothing the whole thing and ruining the shape of the endplates.
Still learning the program, have to look through the tutorials again. A veeery simple looking rear wing I made. No idea what its dimensions are, it could be miniscule or the size of a building. |

Reminds me of the walled compound in Starship Troopers.

I don't know yet if I'll make a car for it. Had to revert to an earlier save due to some mistakes I made.

Two more shots, still working quite low poly on the buildings, trying to get the scale somewhat right (which it isn't, the tower thingy on the other side of the bigger buildings should be much nearer to the wall). Thinking of using bumpmaps & textures to add detailing instead of modelling.

Somehow I knew you'd get it, so I drank all the virtual beer already.
Hadley's Hope it is. EDIT: Wow, didn't realise the pics were that big! Sorry about that. |

Colony in Zeta II Reticuli system, on a moon called Acheron orbiting a Gas Giant, owned by Weyland-Yutani corporation. Also known by it's inhabitants as 'Hadley's Hope'.
Population 158 Right, it's the colony where the story of movie ALIENS takes place. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mkay, started to redo the buildings with more detail + subD. This is the north lock, from where the marines entered the complex in the movie. All the locks are the same building, except for the S lock that houses the Operations room on top of it where they hold up. Anywho, I do the N lock separately as I'm planning to add the main corridor in it (I had done it before I had formatted my POS PC and lost it ).
