Because we already have a picture and video thread stickied. If we stickied every thread that someone suggested, the forum would be nothing but stickies.

Stickied Thread
First thank You for reply I am aware you cannot sticky every Thread but it is very popular and has had over 20,000 hits alot more than some threads that are stickied and I think a Relistic Photo Thread is completly different to Photo N Video Thread besides that they dont like us posting Edited photos or screenShots in that thread. so I ask again please could we have Relistic Photo Thread stickied.I am sure the rest of the Guys that post here would want it.Or could you have a word with Neil

I think I pointed out many pages earlier that the SH3 Realistic Photo thread has never been stickied, and yet manages to hold its own. As long as people keep posting here the thread should be fine.

That's true Gunfighter....if the thread remains popular it'll maintain its prominence on merit just like that of the SH3 thread.

[501]Otto, your pics are awesome. The textures you used to make your screenshots look aged/scratched/worn are just amazing. Do you just photoshop it or is there another program you use?

I have to agree with Steve and Jim.
The SH3 thread was always on the front page. If this thread continues to be as popular as it has been you will be able to find it easy enough without a sticky. Keep up the great shots guys.

Nice, although it's sad to see they haven't really bothered with historical accuracy.
The first production Spit with a bubble-canopy, a MK XIV, was delivered in December 1944. The first prototype with this feature, a MK VIII, flew in September 1943. The squadron most likely to carry the id-letters VZ during the SH5 timeframe, No. 412 squadron of the RCAF, probably received it's first bubble-canopy Spits when they received MK XVIs in May 1945. |
