Where the Russian army cannot engagd in urban fighting, it then desintegrates residential areas and deliberately takes out civilians, en masse.

Donbass and Luhansk are regions the world still recognizes as part of sovereign Ukraine, same for Crimea. They fell away under massive Russian directing and help, and since then themsleves have been the base of constant and notorious agressive shelling into the Ukraine. The only world power that recognizes Donbas and Luhansk as (its vasall) states is the country that orchstrated the plot: Russia. Thats the Russia that now wants to turn all of Ukraine into a dependign vasall state like it had many of these when there was the Sovjet Union. A satellite.

Thats what it really is about, and the fascist in the Kremlin has said it clearly and loud. Its about de facto reinstating borders and conditions as during the Sowjet Union after WW2. Where the USSR repeatedly militarily intervened in Eastern European states to crack down on freedeom. seeking populaitons and keep Kremlin-loyal military regimes in power. Just that the wasr today is much worse in scale and ammount of destruction and deaths. Clearly, the Kremlin'S plan ambition aims clearly far beyond the Ukraine.

I wll not go into the events of 2013, 2014, Maidan and so forth, but you can safely assume that there is not just the pro-Russian narration to be told, but also a version that goes very differently.

Do not expect understanding from me or most of us people here. You reap what you have sown. And yet, the Ukraine gets the much meaner and harder share of the beating.

Just because the latter only understands a dirct punch in the face,
the west should go all in, now. Including Germany and all the EU states.

What is anybody waiting for? Ukraine being bombed into oblivion?
Let the Ukrainians defend themselves alone just because they are not in the NATO? Wait until Russia is ready for the Baltic and Finnland? Putin has said it all openly in 2007, are 14 years not enough to understand?
