But dont you feel that the *Mining* animations are a bit lame? like poking at it for christ sake :p

Does anyone know if there is a key for removing the interface? I know you can get rid of the crosshair but what about the compass?

Either put the HUD opacity slider to 0 from the settings (hides everything) or
take a look inside the SkyrimPrefs.ini (my documents/my games etc.), there
should be settings to disable invidual HUD stuff.
