A suggestion for those who are in the track building business:

I did not realise that unpowered boost rails would act as a brake.

That would almost certainly sort out our issues with stopping at stations.

Use a detector rail for the chimes and an unpowered rail to break with a button to hit that will let it fire you into the existing booster.

That way no more lag issues for people trying to get a runup to the booster.

Thanks for that.

Are there any resources that C19 is in need of other than redstone?

Keep in mind though the powered rail only accelerates already moving carts, so for a button to work the powered rail would have to be on a downward slope in the direction you want. Also put a normal track between the detector and the powered rail or the detector will switch the rail on

hmm good point. I'll have to play around at one of the stations, see what I can come up with.

The Yogscast - Simon Plays Minecraft Easter Special: Weathertest01.a

Quote:
Simon takes a break from failing at Portal 2 to bring you a Minecraft video. Yayyy!

Wanting to experience some of the new weather conditions in the game, he plugs in a special seed suggested by an anonymous yognaught: "-1293644106920865080"

Things do not go as expected. Also his microphone set up is still kinda crappy.

This sounds nice:

You can give the map to other people and they will see what you’ve explored on there, and it’s quite possible you will even be able to magically “link” two maps so they’re the same map. That means you will be able to see where other people who carry the same map are.

So, I'm digging away on the route to Arclight whilst listening to a reading of Jigoku hen on Radio Four when, as the narrator is discussing the artist Yoshihide's haunted works there's a crash of thunder from above.
