Sooo nice boys

I am stunned

So lovely pictures

My intentions with this threads , is to let all of us who love those beautys from WW2 , is to bringing those up from the deep and be showed here in SUBSIM
Off cource I will keep this thread alive:p I know many of you have a picture or two laying around , maybe have a grandfather that has served in one of those subs , maybe german , english , american , or even japanese:hmm: So let us keep this thread alive my fellow Kaleuns

I also wish to thank Jimbuna who has answered in all of my threads

Here is the famous U-47:p

By the way, does anyone of you know what colour this emblem in front of U-47 was:hmm:

I'm not realy sure, and can only guess. The boats on picture were assigned to 2nd Flotilla, and the photo is taken before the war (judging by the painted numbers).
The base of the 2nd Flotilla before the war was Wilhelmshaven, except for the first few weeks after forming, when it was in Kiel.

So, I guess the photo is probably taken in Wilhelmshaven, with a small probability that it was in Kiel.
