While I was waiting for the late voters, other people were changing their votes at the last minute too. That's ok, it was the perpetually slow voters who kept me waiting.

Well I was wrong about PG in the beginning (but that was part of a story I made up) and I had suspicions about JCWolf (he really should not have been growing hair on his arm).
However, Neal has said... Odd, none of the players seemed to notice that Nisgeis, who was in the boat with Fincuan, was not hurt and never spoke up about what had happened. Sure, the other players were not present as characters in the boat, but that should not have stopped them from questioning him in the lynch debates. Perhaps it was because of Nisgeis’ skill in crafting very convincing diary entries in his posts.… he was very clever, I would be wary of playing in a game with him. And I would have sworn I caught on to that...and that I said something. Because that was very strange and did key me in. I just didn't push things because I was trying to stay in character by playing the 'old fisherman' type guy... It was fun doing this and to let you know...this was my first ever RPG.....so thanks to all for a great time. NealT

If a HH attacked a human, human = dead. If a HH attacked a human protected by a Guardian, human+guardian = dead. However, if a HH attacked a human protected by 2 guardians, then one of the three is selected at random and is dead. ? The night HH Aramike attacked human Chad, he was protected by Guardian Super Market, who was in turn protected by Guardian Mookie. The rules did not implicitly say what to do in this situation, but in my judgment, that was akin to the "HH attacked a human protected by 2 guardians" part, so I selected Chad as the sole victim and wrote the narrative to reflect that. The night preceding that was an even bigger mess! UnderseaLpcl was human, protected by Guardian JCwolf. UnderseaLcpl was also, at first, protected by Guardian Super Market, then, before Day began, Super Market changed his vote to Chad (everyone was always changing stuff! But I kept track of it all!!) Undersea was attacked by HH Aramike and WW Task Force. It was a big ass pile on! So, Undersea and JCWolf died, and Super Market was off protecting Chad to no effect. That's why the narrative was written thusly (Bolded to indicate where narrative relates to events received by PM: Quote:

As far as the role play dynamic goes, one small change I'd like to see would be to have everyone on the same "side". I felt like the town vs. wehrmacht vs. u-boat vs. werewolf thing limited role play.

So it's finally over
Nisgeis, you bastard LOL I suspected from you from the first time you replied to me saying you also had a contact....I knew too well my own lie to tell when someone else was using it also The thing is, this game was may be too long for people with some real life issues. If I had not revealed my identity to Penelope Grey (And to Jimbuna) so I could be lynched or otherwise suicide, the game could have been different, probably also because the huge lie I created about Jimbuna unbeliavably started to be believed , and the only one who was in a position to question it was Nisgeis, who I had already started to suspect was a wolf and could even support it. I just couldn't help laughing my a*s off thinking bout Jim's face when he readed it. :rotfl: Jim's a great guy and took it with sportmanship (What else would you have expected from a true brit except that, and then a huge strike back? ) Also, again due to real life constraints I missed an attack at night 3 I would have directed at A Very Supermarket, a night when he was not guarded Nevertheless I must say that this is the first time I have ever participated in a RPG, and honestly I didn't like its ultimate essence. Yes it sure was fun to see how people displayed their sense of humour and abilities for the narrative, but ultimately I don't feel comfortable playing a role, I'm too straightforward for that Cheers everybody, the thing I now miss more is having been able to go with you all in real life into a pub and drink a beer together while laughing and commenting this all

Yep, kudos to Nisgeis, he really suckered me in right up to the last minute. The only time I started wondering was at the very end when Penelope was so confident that you were it.
This was as much fun as the games of Mafia I've played with friends, great work Neal. So when's the next game?

As much as everyone who participated was really excellent, I will never forget the terse exchanges during the last two nights between Pen, Nisgeis and Pinguin

Fantastic game, with some very close held cards. It was fantastic to be able to go up against you guys. The investigation was very enjoyable, Jims response was particularly hilarious when I asked him some questions, I believe it was along the lines that I'd have "more chance of getting your arse bit off by a cabbage" and then went on to warn me of the "wolf that suckles its young" hence my change of tack onto Penelope and the Wolfsbane, which I'm glad was actually a valid indicator. After Neal confirmed that the wolves could hold silver, I panicked a little that the Wolfsbane would have been a red herring. The Inquisition was a little scary at first, with UnderseaLcpl acting like some deranged trigger happy sheriff "If you do not respond within the allocated time, then you will be assumed to be untrustworthy". However I managed to bluff my way into that one, however the information that Aramike lied to us was pretty damning after Gorduz copped it, and when the rest of the Inquisition dwindled I had to make the info public, and I'm glad that they got him in the end. Otherwise, I had suspects in the big groups at first, Chad, Jim, Hitman (got that one right) and Xabba, who I suspected right up until he blew his brains out all over my newspaper. As an RP Wehrmacht soldier, I was constrained to following orders from the higher command, although I bent them a little to investigate matters. The temporary leave from the Wehrmacht then put me in a position to be able to judge Chad and co, without having to worry about command decisions. That East Tower, god, it was all happening there! Despite Oberons best attempts to turn it into the Siegfried line with searchlights and tripwires galore (self-preservation ), although Oberon was starting to crack up near the end. The self-destruct plan, if it looked like the wolves were going to win, was to turn all the searchlights skyward and turn them on, then use the alcohol to set fire to a massive X near the village and the explosives on the fuel depot. If that giant blaze didn't attract the RAF then nothing would The other idea would have been to put everyone in the Uboat and scuttle it, but thankfully Jim ignored that and Aramike ate me before I cracked completely! I did suspect Ni-Nis-Bob but couldn't bring up any decent evidence to accuse him before I snuffed it, I completely missed that he was in the boat with Fin and co, talk about wood for the trees Lesrae was confusing, although it netted me a silver pistol in the end, thanks NealT I also had a plan to tell Xabba where I was hiding up for the night (the church) and then mask my scent with flowers, so if I died that night, Xabba would be the suspect, but Neal decided (wisely) that everyone would be trying to mask their scent every night which would bjork the werewolves a fair bit. Count me on board for the next adventure! |

The silver pistol was, I thought, a clever idea...and had I survived the night, I was going to ask for it back.
Having said that...you are welcome anyway...

Oberon, did it not occur to you to try to use the searchlights to send a message to Stockholm?
