We just got back from a short 'stay-cation' and yesterday found this, the only thatched church in Lincolnshire, St Peter's at Markby... a very ancient church

This past week we also visited Alford, a town near to where we live, which has a famous windmill. These places usually have a tea-room now

Put a few hours in at the sons house over the past few days helping him dismantle his conservatory prior to having a brick extension.

He rang to say he advertised it this morning and it sold within the hour.

I said "So, is there a drink in this for your old man"?

His response "I need the money for the extension but I'll be bringing your tools round when I come for my tea tomorrow"

I managed to break my new computer. I'm hand-writing my '100 Years' stuff on paper and posting from my local library again until the new part comes. The upside is that I'm wasting a lot less time watching videos and getting a lot of reading done again. And playing music. And walking.

Life can be interesting sometimes.
