IIRC its something like 20 DC per rack or thrower
As the Black Swan has IIRC 8 throwers late war plus 2 racks plus hedgehogs tis a world of hurt When they do run out they continue to act as if they still have them ie make runs above you |

Just to add, in late war, if you live that long.... (I struggle) lol
In late war... do expect to be depthcharged mercilessly for on average 3 hours straight. Because they will call in other units to attack you. Late war, the bare minimum depth you should be at, is 160m. 200m is preferable. More if the hull integrity will allow it! The deeper the better as it takes the charges and hogs longer to get down to you, giving you more chance to evade. |

Dr Zod, give it up...
I had the same experience, being blasted repeatedly by a "black dot" on horizon! ...and in other cases, haveing even gun-duels with two escorts ?! It is generally bad balanced feature in SH3, and GWX team could not make a miracle... so far.

Concerning the long range surface ship gunnery in GWX, you guys really should read the manual.

When GWX 1.04 is released, will it be stickied? I usually pop in once or twice a week to see if it has been released, and scan through the posts looking for it.
It would be nice if it is in the sticky section from the get-go, when you do release it for quick reference. Thanks |

Hi Tim,
This thread is sticky. You can find its origin here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=115089 |

Just a quick GWX question, more like a SH3 question really. But I'll ask you chaps as you know the SH3 files inside out, and you surely wouldn't refuse your teammates brother.
Is there some way to mod the patrol orders so that you can have more than one patrol grid? I've always wondered this, because it seemed the one patrol grid was a bit lame.

Not sure there is a way to simulate it either You can alter the Bdu messages with SH3commander randomise feature so instead of getting say Be more aggresive you get " Move patrol to grid xxxx " Of course the downside there is you may get a new grid hundreds of miles from the current one Plus you will have to make a shedload of entries for them |

@ Mikey
I don't think there is anyway to have the game assign two grids to patrol. However, you could do it manually in the same way SH3 commander does. By editing the patrols_0.cfg found in the Careers folder in My Documents > SH3, where the next patrol grid is listed, it might be possible to add a second grid assignment. However, doing this manually will get old very quickly. There is certainly no way to have the game award you for visting the second grid. However, that may not matter.:hmm:

Hi; don't post much here; mostly lurk. Speaking to the vanilla version of SH3, though, I recently had to do the rollback-uninstall-reinstall-tango, and before reinstalling GWX, piddled with a patched-up version of 'vanilla' SH3. And I have to say,the performance, not just content, of the GWX updated version was noticeably better than 'vanilla' SH3. Thanks for all the work, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming release impatiently!
