Panzer Corps:

Stalingrad:
Decisive Victory
Capture all objectives with 10 turns remaining (not a chance)

Marginal Victory
Capture all objectives (except the caucasus) 3 towns total far in the south east (I can do that)

after an hour and a half I have all the objectives apart from the 3 in the caucasus....

End turn ''LOST!'' (I took one of the 3 in the caucasus, perhaps I either misunderstood something or I've hit a bug)
anyway eh...what....ah well it had to happen by now after my victory streak.
next mission in the campaign -> Operation Citadel.
.........

Ah well...
guess I'll be playing this while playing that mission

Right, while we're at it. With Fire and Sword:

My 70-something man Swedish company launches another raid into Poland after helping destroy most of the Polish army around Polotsk. After burning a bunch of innocent villages along the way, we run into a Polish army about twice our size (Which is not a big problem, since my troops are fairly veteran while the Polish troops tend to be mostly junk militia after the losses they've suffered lately). The battle is going well, and the majority of the Polish troops decide they've had it and start running away. Naturally, I order the cavalry to pursue and join in the murdering. However, when I come to chop the head off of a hapless mercenary, he suddenly decides that he's not so hapless and swiftly murders (Or knocks unconscious) me with his pike. As it always does when you're knocked unconscious, my army sounded the retreat despite easily winning earlier, losing me decidedly more men than I'd have liked for absolutely no gain. Now I have to get back to friendly territory, hopefully without being annihilated on the way...

Hitting realm divide in Shogun2:total war and having 15 year allies and trade partners all of a sudden decide you are a scumbag and attack you along with the people who already hated you to begin with.

BTW I won that game. Thanks to Oda clans superior ashikaga troops.

Download the TweakMB, there's an option to enable battle continuation

Yeah, I remembered there was something like that for the original and Warband, but didn't know if it's been adapted to WFaS. I'll have to use that from now on...

After a hard battle in WoT there are 6 VII-IX tanks left on our team and a 38NA left on the other team. He begins to capture just as my team finishes off the last of the opponent team. An IS is the only tank close enough to make back and gets there as the capture bar hits 70. I proceeded to watch him miss 4 shots at less than 100m as the capture bar locked at 100, ending the game.

FUUUUUUUUUUUU.....

HOI3, as Germany, I invade Poland, however before DOWing them I sent my Western Theatre infantry corps to their positions on the Siegfried line. Figuring they'd reach it in time before the French realized or would launch any attacks.

Poland goes off without a hitch, so easy in fact that I don't even decide to deploy my panzertruppes. Instead they stay in Central Germany. Lo and behold, as the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler finally walks into Lvov and Poland surrenders, I get a ton of messages about the Western Front being taken over by the French!

I go to see that my infantry for whatever reason have barely moved and that the French have taken position in the Northern Siegfried line.. So I send in my tanks and try to sweet around north and trap them against the Swiss border which eventually works. At first I thought to take it slow, as it was mid September by this point and I didn't know if I could sustain a drive for all of the French VP points. "Ah what the hell", so I immediately VP bitz the french cities with my panzers and what ensues is my panzers capturing almost all points and then the french bursting out of the pockets they were trapped in to take over captured VPs.. (Goddamn infantry generals are going up against a wall..). Finally, after 3 weeks of hunting down French VPs, I get the Vichy events that means France has surrendered. Click yes ---> Immediate CTD. FUUUUU

Pharaoh.

First mission in the campaign you are tasked with building a medium pyramid.
Who hasn't played the game: building monuments takes quite a long time.

So, get my city running with two 16x8 blocks. Trading, food production, stone
quarry all set up to the point where I really don't have to interfere anymore.

Start building the pyramid, make all the preparations needed and see them starting
to lay out the first layer, before I crank up the game speed, close the monitor
and go watch some telly.

Come back 45 minutes later, hoping to see the "Mission Completed" screen, but no.
I check the pyramid and only 1 layer's done. I check the stone quarry, work camps,
stonemason and wood carpent- FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-!!!!

Forgot to import wood for the scaffoldings.

Walked onto a ledge to take in the view. Then I was pushed off.

To this day, an angry yell can be heard echoing between the icy peaks of Skyrim.

"DAMN YOU, LYDIAAAAAAAAA!"

Aye, she seems to run into you a lot. She's either dragging way behind and not there to fight with you, or walking into you. Nearly pushed me into a pit.

Half Life 2:

Launching an explode on impact grenade at a group of zombies, only to have it explode in your face, because of it colliding with a barrel the zombie just threw at you.
