I've found the picture on the web and it does not say anything about
multi-legged beast. The wagon was called a chariot and this multi-legged beast was donkeys http://www.mesopotamia.co.uk/tombs/explore/w_char4.html Could be wrong though Markus

Um, it looks to be a fancy representation of a wind up, uh, Roman toy?

Your mother was a
Buddahaid has it, from the (war panel) Standard of Ur.. not a mythological beast and not more than four legs, four of those animals pulled the vehicle, just being closely painted behind each other. The first known hybrid animal bred my mankind, a status symbol of the time called the Kunga. Stronger than a horse and faster, but hard to tame. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/01/14/w...scn/index.html Mapuc had a hint and Budda found it – i say let Budda do the next one. edit @Eisenwurst: Though Tiglat lived well into the horses' times, his predecessors probably used Kungas to pull their chariots (before 2000 bc there had been no horses in Mesopotamia)

The Turkmenian kulan (Equus hemionus kulan), also called Transcaspian wild ass, or Turkmenistani onager ?

Klose; but not the Transcaspian Ass. A 4500 yr-old grave with 4 genetically tested skeletons (a 4-team?) reveal's man's first interbreeding for a superior war-chariot beast was discovered. These critters were expensive and had a specific name- & that is what the puzzle asks... EDIT: my bad... Catfish has posted the site and article which deals with the archeology and states the specific name Kunga: bred from the now extinct Syrian Wild Ass (died out ca: 1920's)or onager and a donkey. So Catfish actually takes it; but in PM to me he says Buddahaid may post the next puzzle...so over to Buddahaid.

I'm hung up at work for another eight hours. Catfish can take it unless everyone can wait.

precisely! As I posted to Catfish: "what Sumerian geneticist dreamed up aligning a Wild Syrian Ass with a poor unwilling donkey just so some U R Sumer despot could toss his imported Hunga-mungas from his KüngaPänzerWägon!??" Much less the wait 4 years or so for an expensive mature hybrid beast(s)to pull the cart into battle...and what dispicable foe rated so much investment in semenship...and hay?? Attn: BuddhaBBY: anyone with the nerve to work in Pandemic ravaged Marin hospitals can certainly be accommodated by misanthropic mancavers..for eight hours!
