Does it have a large tank or other container on the chassis?

No, usually not, but there are exceptions, and while those exceptions are extraordinarily rare in most parts of the world they are more common in the US. I don't know how common, though. For its main purpose it doesn't need large tanks - those tanks would offer an addional function. |

Your answer gives me the indication that this machinery can be used almost everywhere outside. Markus

Some self-moving lift, like used for controlling and repairing electrical stuff and wire poles?
(I do not even know how this is called in Germany, saw it numerous times)

It oculd be used for that, but that would be highly unusual. Quote:
Do you mean a "Hebebühne" https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebeb%C3%BChne ? Last edited by Ostfriese; 01-04-23 at 03:28 PM. |

^ not exactly, what i mean is a self-propelled and steerable moving lift. It comes with different number of wheels, and is steerable from the ground or from the platform at the top. Also used indoors like for expositions/fairs.
This "Hebebühne" you mentioned is stationary.

@mapuc: Yes, it does.
@Catfish: it is, you are quite close, but still not quite there. @Eichhörnchen: no, it's not used for towing. |
