Likewise running SH3 on Win7 64Bit OS no problems - but I recommend you to install the 4GB patch to take full advantage of the memory on 64bit system.
Here's a link to the 4GB patch on our U-Boot_HAHD website:
http://www.u-boot-hahd.com/ubootwebsite/downloads-2

Just apply it directly to the SH3.exe file

Of course now you'll have to find another way to make sure U-BOOT_HAHD runs on low end machines

also using win7 x64 and sh3 works without any problem Hans .

@Urfisch: i have my monitor setted at 75 Hz and i have no problem ,sh3 runs ok. i remember that first time i ran it was not showing on monitor but i could hear the sounds-music . i exited the game ,setted at sh3.text(at my documents) v-sync ON and all were ok after that !

so Hans , in case that Urfisch's suggestion doesn't work, try also mine

good luck ! (........the funny thing with this game is that you always need...luck !!!!)

When he was a member of my old website BTS, he had a complete tutorial on how to get SH3 to work on W7. He's quite the GURU on W7.

Good luck Hans
Thank mate, i will have a look when ready

Best regards Hans

Thank mate i will surely install this patch since more memory mean more goody's on screen
I just hope this patch will not act as the famous 3GB switch because some games did CTD because of this switch.

Hi mate,

Eh eh funny one indeed! But no worry here because i will continue to work with the same pipeline but this time my work horse will be a lot faster at everything from rendering to modeling etc.

One U-BOAT_HAHD will be call U-BOAT_HAHD_LSS )Low specs system) and the other U-BOAT_HAHD_HSS (High specs system).

We will never let down folks with lower specs system rest assure
Best regards Hans

Oi, Mate, glad to hear you updated you toaster-box.

Just curious, what was the price for you GPU, where you live, just wanted to compare, if you don't mind me asking!

Cheers!

Many of my applications are not working under win 7 pro 64 bits it is a real pain and now i understand why i was so reluctant to change!
I just hope s3d editor is working correctly under win 7 pro 64 bits and also can someone point me to the thread that was explaining how to make SH3 work under win 7 ?

For U-BOAT_HAHD i was getting at implementing my new explosions and fire effects before i start that system transfer.

The minute i am done solving my new installation i will resumed work on mod

Best regards Hans
Hello old friend

Regarding Win7 64-bit, s3d editor works fine here no problem, regarding the 60 Hertz setting for your monitor, it is a must ! Else you'll get the dreaded 'cannot initialize 3d'... blah error. Took me an age to get past that, not sure if that will apply to you tho, something in the back of my head keeps saying it is an Nvidia only problem ( I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong ). Best of luck mate, and start enjoying the benefits of 64 bit.

Quick edit, wholeheartedly agree with reaper, grab that 4gb patch mate, you're in the zone now reap ( sorry bout the pun ) the benefits

Best regards as always.
