While the actual article isn't quite as bad as the Daily Fail makes out it does contain much that I feel is totally unjustifiable, together with a small smattering of good points.
However given that Halls statements in defence of his child abuse would probably make Gary Glitter blush you must wonder about her sanity in leaping to his defence

OK, I was a member of the NUM for 23 years 16 of these as a Labour party member but I left the Labour membership in 2000 as I was a bit peeved that Tony didn't renationalise the coal industry. Cant remember how much I paid then.
I then rejoined in late 2004 a year after I was made redundant and so this must be why my subs are more?. I don't mind as every penny helps the party

IIRC it depended on your affiliation at the time of joining and you being redundant at the time I suspect that is the reason.

I did receive a letter from the party recently and I believe the price will soon increase to £1.90.
