The only time a bad joke about Italians is going to go badly is with Italians present. For us they are the bad joke and only offensive when one of them is present.
A limey/jerry/yenki making jokes is OK

@Oberon

No offence taken I just wanted to point it out, as the majority of the Western world seems to have collective amnesia as to what Italians did in the interwar and war periods.

@Betonov

I could not have put it better myself.

I could, but that would be breaking forum rules.

Slovenes are in my opinion hard people to offend. Anger yes, we might be a little more jumpy but not really long term offended.
Even with Italians, we are not that much bitter from WW2, it's their arrogant attitude, abhorent driving, uncivilised shouting and total mockery of cuisine that offends us today. They don't tip and pillage Slovene forests for mushrooms every autumn.
We forgave the Germans, Italians simply remind us every time why we used to hate them.

Speaking of Reagonom...errr...Economics...

Is there any way to find out what the global supply and demand situation is like other than the monthly price variables? For example, I, as Britain, have access to a few mineral sites which I would like to develop but I want to know how well these minerals will sell on the international market and whether it's worth the expense and time to make the mines to export the minerals.

Also maybe the mineral itself may not be that profitable for the international market but the end product it'll be turned into by one of your factories might, so it may be worth the investment by a different route.

Gotcha both, still a bit of a pain in the arse that you can't see what the international market is doing and identify trends.

You can see the total amount of resources sold and total amount of resources requested in each trading region on the Assets Balance panel, which I think almost exactly amounts to hard numbers for supply and demand. That's probably the best way to figure out that sort of thing.

Or you can just go and burn down the mining operations of anyone who exports minerals leaving you the sole source of pyrite on the planet.
