His arm velocity didn't look great due to some nagging injuries. Also his O-line was no where near what Luck had yesterday.

Old school defense and offense asswhups gimmicky offense again. This is what happens when you play a season full of cupcakes, then face a real defense.


Even all of the pretty uniform combinations couldn't get a national championship.

Player conduct issues since then have ranged from the obnoxious (players whining about the Rose Bowl) to the outrageous (a star running back punching an opponent after a season-opening loss), besmirching the university’s reputation. (Over the weekend, two Oregon starters were benched for smoking weed.) For years, the hundreds of millions of dollars spent on state-of-the-art athletic facilities have turned faculty members and alumni into fierce opponents of Oregon athletics.

But the Ducks are a big, flashy, talented, media-savvy part of the problem. They're Exhibit A in the case against the super conference era, when big programs generate billions of dollars of revenue at the expense of athletes’ health and education. The Ducks may not be the worst offenders, but if they fulfill their promise and become a truly elite program, they will bear a huge responsibility: Where champions lead, others will follow.

Yeah, Indy is a tough call. I think NE will pull it out, but Luck had a pretty good game last week.

It didn't take long for John Fox to land a new head coaching job. He was hired Friday by the Chicago Bears.
Fox secured a four-year deal just four days after he parted ways with the Denver Broncos after four seasons, each of which included an AFC West

I think he was great coach ... hard to understand some teams.
