Upon educating myself on automobilia; A differential allows wheels to turn at different speeds as in a turn

No my first sentence was the question: "Crankshaft end driving a vertical shaft to e.g. a distributor?", i only said it looks like the one of a Jag. Ok so i take it it is not an automobile part of any kind. So is it part of a bicycle?

The drive shaft a bit into the article looks exactly like the one you posted.. a Byar-Volta bike made by Zehus? https://www.theverge.com/2019/7/17/2...tor-price-date
