There might be another aircraft visible in the bottom right of the picture, but I'm really not sure. Besides that, there is only one aircraft.

Can we get a clue? I'm wasting too much time on this and getting no closer.

It's a jet that is possibly Russian. That means it could still be almost anything as long as Russia could have operated it.

Alright. The aircraft has a bicycle undercarriage layout. I'll also confirm that it is, in fact, Soviet.

Not that I'm aware of but it has all the right attributes and I can't find a soviet copycat.

Some had pods mounted close inboard and that conventional tail.
