Here's the backup of the last world: http://www.filefront.com/17923879/wo...14-1-2011.zip/

Yes, finally. I was busy, alright? Took quite a bit of effort too, if I might add.

Ok, you're right. I miss interpreted the mob spawning science thread by fr0stbyte124 (link)

Here's a top-down view of a underground trap I had in the previous world. The measurements are all wrong, but that's not the point here.

Orange = lavatrap
Green = loot collection point

The water ran in 2 deep canals and was sliced with half-tiles to keep it all level (pressure plates I believe work too)
Ok, I wondered if it made any difference if you made multiple levels.

Also your current one seems to be a mob dropper, right? I noticed some falling into pits and die instantly. I accidentally picked up some items and placed them in a self made box near your window with the lava.

Yeah, I got bored and never finished the trap. The idea was to extend the floors all the way to the trap level, then connect all the shafts so the mobs would go into a one big lava trap in the center, but meh.. works this way too.

Don't worry about the items, rarely go there anymore.

Personally I always preferred drowning suction traps. The mobs suffer more that way.

Fruitloop, you got any weird mods? You connecting effectively murders the server.

Out of curiosity, was it an op who came by my place and removed the flaming logs from the pentagram thingy in my yard and the one in my boat's stack? Or have I also been "visited" by our little hooligan?

I put sand on someones flaming logs a while back. Not sure who's but I generally try to cut down on too many of that kind of thing. It's laggy.

Yeah, I saw that. That was just a tree that I was never getting around to removing. But this is recent, like within the past 5 hours.

EDIT: Like really recently, apparently. There was still dirt where the log blocks were removed, grass had not grown there yet.

ok, yeah I forgot you asked that.

Rhys202 is just a friend of mine. he asked me if I knew any minecraft servers that where good. so I told him the IP and told him to be good on it. well, burrowing under someones building isnt exactly the pinnacle of evil, but he was pretty upset when you guys kept killing him and stealing his stuff etc.

No it's not, fair enough.

But why is it only now that we hear this? You must know that a big deal of the er... "displeasement" with you was because you made/let it seem like you didn't know him.

And as for the lynching; well it's not something I would promote or anything, but if people are shoved around they tend to shove back. You screwed up when they were pissed, and there you go.

If it wasn't you two messing around, then you can thank whoever it was (and prolly is now) for getting banned.

While we're on the subject: management is rather occupied with that matter at the moment, so for now you're still sol.

Is there any chance of me and my friend ever going back on your server?

Also, i wouldn't mind someone burrowing under my house, it would make the place seen livelier , though that might be just me.

Heads up!

10AM PST - 6PM PST Machinima will be doing livestream with Notch and SeaNanners (idiot ).

The site is supposed to be Machinimalive.com, but that only leads me to facebook.

Machinima's ustream channel mentions the happening, so guess it's streamed there too.
