Good news Jim, the first heat wave is on its way next week.

Another evening at work with my rotten Back and Hip pain. Off to see my GP next Tuesday about this after waiting six weeks to see my GP!

Looks like the nice weather is here for a while. Give it a week and if there's no change it might be time to get the garden furniture out

Cut the grass last night now I got a load of cut grass laying about as it did not go into the collection box, maybe due to being the first cut of the season and being wet as well. Give it a another trim next week and with hope it will be a better cut.

perusing my OFFICIAL SUMMONS FOR JURY DUTY. Always a pain in the ass; but fortunately I have a handy letter from my audiologist stating:

"Mr. aktungbby has mild sloping to severe sensoineural hearing loss bilaterally....significantly interferes with his ability to hear and comprehend spoken language....He is therefore a poor candidate for jury duty"

In short; I'm off the hook!

I worked with some one who was called up here in the UK and wanted to get out of it. He put it around he was a hang them flog them their all guilty type. According to him the defense council had him removed for being hostile and bias. So it was a result for him, this was some years ago now so I don't know if that sort of thing works now.

Been called up on two separate occasions and when I contact them and give my NI number I soon receive a letter informing me I needn't attend.
