Aces of the Deep
Hi I am an old guy (76) who likes old games. Having said that ... altho SH3 is very nice I still can't get the same kick that I got with Aces of he Deep
that I played ack in 1993. My problem is that I have lost/misplaced the first install 3 1/2" disk . Is there some kind soul out there who could upload that disk to me at neil210@myfairpoint.net ??? You would be forever in my debt. Neil |

...and I found the video of Betonov driving the forklift at work. No Betonovs were harmed in this video, but Steed had to go to the hospital 7 times.

Gentlemen (and Ladies)...
Figures. I rush into a forum without so much a how-do-you-do. I'm a 41ish male with too much gut and too little hair on top, 2 kids, a dog and a wife. Civilian-wise, I work for an engineering firm as CAD technician (fancy title for draftsman) with occasional forays on survey field crews if I'm lucky. Been doing this for a million years now, it feels. Military-wsie, I've been in the Reserves and Guard in one form or another since '96 and with the exception of the HQ MP Company I was with up to last year, I've always been in an engineer specific type of unit; first as a Fuel Supply Specialist, then Heavy Equipment Operator and now I'm an Engineer Assistant with a REDHORSE Reserve unit. Oh, and I'm talking just Army and Air Force branches too. Hobby-wise, I play computer sims mostly (duh) with a sprinkling of FPSes and the odd "strategy," game thrown in. I also dabble in pen-n-paper roleplaying stuff as I refuse to give up all of my nerdy youth habits. I stumbled across SubSim by accident honestly. I think I was Googling "WW1 Subs," or something which led me to the Shells of Fury review and thence to the forum side of the house. Now, I got the aforementioned Shells as well as Silent Hunter 4 sitting beside my beloved flight sims and I can't wait to play hooky this week from work...er...to really have some time to sit down with SH4 and get cookin'. Probably in my underwear with some beer, too. Risky Business style. You guys look like you have fun with a minimum of fuss and that's okay by me. |
