obviously, there is a method to the madness.

The only thing I am trying to figure out is whether he has the "luck of the Irish" or is the smartest politician ever.

His approval rating goes up because he is fighting for what folks want for the country. It is not the luck of the Irish. He won the election on resonating with a platform that voters wanted. Now that he is here all stops have been pulled out to stifle these new ideas/plans the voters are looking to take place.

They are lucky just to survive. Hundreds of millions from active, enthusiastic tormentors of women. But that's just FINE! She's a liberal and rules are for other people.

Thank God she is not president. We're at a turning point where we will become irrelevant or recover some of our resolve and ability to be a positive force in the world. Trump isn't perfect, but he's the only game in town. Compared to the crass disregard for humanity exhibited by the liberals, Conways is an angel.

Don't muddle the issue with facts.

It's not so much a Nazi thing but more the nature of the quote rather than the people who said it.
It's how people can be manipulated into positions through the exploitation of patriotism. Every nation has done it, look at the anti-German fervour in Britain during WWI when just two decades before we considered them fellow Anglo-Saxons of Europe, and a few decades before that our Queen married one! What I was referring to is the likely reaction when a terrorist attack occurs and Trump uses the aftermath of the attack to push his position and increase governmental powers.

I have to say reading here and in other forums gives me a much better picture of politics and thinking in the US (and YUK of course), than i could get from all the news media combined

I've just watched the news and apparently Obama on first coming into office tried some form of EO regarding immigration and that took thirteen months to sort out.

It is nice to see there was some push back on Obama concerning this issue. Nice in the respect that both Obama and Trump are receiving equal attention to the executive orders. There has to be oversight.
