@ Jim: I see the Germans are losing the war. I see this because those Channel-crossing Heinkels were pressed into service so quickly that they weren't even repainted from their Med-based colors.

Thanks for the previous comments guys. @Coronas - love the newspaper.

Here's an attack on Bergen by Allied Bombers. "Antique photo - Medium format camera."



Shore gunners really need to learn how to lead a moving target. lol. I didn't see a single hit on any of those bombers! (The planes are hard to see, but they're the tiny black specks East of the muzzle blast cloud in the pic.)

Wow, the colors and contrast in that shot is really nice. Very moody and gives a cool sense of scale - depth. Retouched at all, or is that a straight up screenshot?
