I don't know everything about it, but I'll ask this: did you transfer all of the files to their proper folders? It won't work unless everything is placed properly.

And I'll make a suggestion: check every single file for HT to work, then 'borrow' the same files from Grey Wolves. Rubini's last work was the HT system for that mod, and it far surpasses 1.47. If you take only the exact files and transfer them you can't go wrong.

Of course it's even better just to use the entire Grey Wolves, as you get all the benefits of that great mod plus the very latest Harbor Traffic.
Gday mate, cheers for the rapid response.

As far as im aware, everything is as it should be.. the cranes inthe harbour, for example, are a bright yellow, and there are now ships patrolling locations such as the straights as one exits Kiel, but in port itself, there is nothing! it really is most confounding.

As for the GW suggestion... well to be honest it doesnt sound much like my cup of tea, so i wasnt going to download it. seems like a waste if i never intend to use it, you know?

cheers mate, n if you or anyone else can think of any possibilities please let me know!!!!!

Nice mod... some shortcomings... terrible FPS hit... worse still, time compression keeps reverting to 8x because of all the traffic near the harbour. Makes it impossible to get out.

You think you've got it bad? I have my TC set to revert to 1x anytime anything happens.

Oh lord. Why?

Still. I'd rather not fight with the game just to get out of harbour... I think I'll disable this one. Logically though, TC should not interrupt when German vessels are sighted. How is their presence even relevant.

Um, because I'm crazy? The truth is I enjoy every phase of the game. Not so much that I play entire patrols at 1x, but I do like taking the time to read the messages and see the sights.

Mainly because if it only slowed down when you saw an enemy ship then there wouldn't be any point in having friendlies and neutrals. It actually works that way in SH4 and it annoys me no end. There's no mystery or the thrill of the chase if you already know the conclusion. This is also why I never use external views except to take pictures of ships I've already IDed.

As for getting out of the harbor, I agree. It would be nice if the whole "ship spotted" function could be disabled at will, or at least while in port.

Send your Watch Officer to his bunk until you're out of there. He's the one responsible for sighting and reporting ships within visual range, so if he's not on the bridge you don't get alerted to the presence of each additional ship as it comes within view.

Keep in mind that if you do this you need to keep a sharp lookout yourself. I believe AI ships that are not enemies bent on ramming you will take evasive measures if a collision is imminent, but that doesn't mean they always work.

Hello guys,

Sorry I know this is an old mod thread, but I just recently got back to SH3 and wanted to try this particular mod out since I have a mod setup without GWX. I noticed the HT 1.47 readme say this includes Black Sea operations/ 30th flotilla, but I cannot find this anywhere in career mode as an option to start a new game?

Do I have to physically sail to Constanza and dock there when it becomes available in late Jan 1942? Great mod btw and thank you.

This is an old sh3 mod...good for a non big mod installation...the black sea operations are into it but not as an alone option. The game will allow you to start a campaign in Constanza directly, then you can play that part of the campaign. But it isn´t like the Black sea operations that you have on GWX. GWX have it much more implemented.

Hi aleksrudenko, hi Rubini,

you can find this great MOD on Plisskens's FTP-Server. Just click H E R E and go to Harbour Traffic 1.47 standalone.7z.
