Greetings all!

Very new to the whole SH series - went with the Mrs to buy a new vacuum and left with a copy of SH5 too! I'm a big fan of realistic WW2 sims, such as IL-2 series, and loving SH5 already. I'm playing mod-free at the moment (and with embarrasingly low realism levels...) to get a feel for it, and found loads of great hints and info here at SUBSIM - so thought I'd join up to say thanks!

Good hunting everyone, and cheers for all the tips in the forums. I'll be needing more when I decide to kick up the realism percentage...

Hullo.

I got SH5 for free with my gaming rag of choice the other day. Immediately went into coop with a mate and started bumbling around. Then I cursed a bit, watched a few videos of some Eastern European bloke doing trigonometry, cursed some more, then read what felt like half of this forum.

Now I'm loading up on mods and planning to come back at the game with a vengeance.

Fav Games are SH-II & DEstroyer Command.
