Oh, that's a close one.

IL2 or GT5 :hmm: Both!

I'll put money on Birds of Prey not having Keyboard/Joystick support, I just can't see the studio spending the money & time to do it.

It's just a pity that Polyphony took out "true" G25 support for GT5. I guess it was to make way for the new Driving Force GT wheel.

Birds of Prey In-game footage

I must say, hence it carries the name IL2, this aint IL2 at all not Even Close except from the aircraft models

FM - I expected a bit arcadish...but this bad? the aircraft doesnt seems to be effected by anything.
DM - from what I seen its using some sort of LIVES system, get killed and respawn directly mid-air.
Realism - No take offs, no landings 3th person Crossair...need to say more?

yes I know you cant expect much of a sim on an console but comon this bad? no way I've seen better stuff on consoles that contain flying parts.

this game will be very nice for the kids - teenagers thought, it probally contain a storyline as a campaign for them to drool on and probally they will have many hours dogfighting eachother with friends. <---- and thats what I think this game is aimed for.

I see it as a sign of how close to SOW's release we might be. For 1 C to give over it's flagship of flight sims to be downgraded by another company for console play might be compared to the US selling off the P-51 after the Saber jet was fielded.
Out with the old and in with the new.

Do you mean this(Birds of Prey, made by a 3rd party using Oleg's old IL2 engine) or Storm of War, the next Battle of Britain sim from Oleg?

AFAIK BoP is only for consoles, while SoW is only for PCs.
