Default Using the Radar to intercep a convoy

Well, i am practicing the Convoy training mission using the radar to intercept it. The radar dont show me the bearing of the contacts (only the position)... Anyone can lend me a hand to understand the radar and teach me how to intercept it without get caught?

The bearing is indicated on the wheel the radarman rotates.

I mean the direction of the convoy route (the bearing of the convoy that it's moving on). That wheel show the actual course of the convoy?

No, you've got to mark the convoys position relative to yours, then do it again a little bit later. Draw a line between the two positions, and you've got the convoys course. The more times you do this, the more accurate it will be.

By the way, I love your Squarepants/DasBoot sig. It cracks me up every time I see it! :rotfl:

I may have to steal it! :p

Thanks for the answer. I though the radar give me the course of the convoy.... but having my map and drawing tools, anything stop me.

It's not the movie Das boot, its U-571 (and spongebob of course). And yes, i have a pretty funny sig, everyone tell me the same :rotfl:.

ooo....I haven't heard of U-571. I'll see if I can't go find it and watch it. You should tell them they owe you a finders fee since your 'advertisement' got me interested in it.
