Bah, I feared as much. Oh well. I had a fiddle with the sound settings and there's a marginal improvement. Still no improvement in my flying skills (or total lack of).

I must say, good sounds give me a boost in games. Good example is back in HL1 Day of Defeat times, when I couldnt kill anyone with the MP40, then I downloaded a new soundmod that had a great sound for the Mp40. What ya know, I became VERY lethal with the mp40. Funny.

Maybe it's that Rolls Royce Merlin soundtrack that means I can shoot 109s down in BOB2 but couldn't hit a He111 at ten paces in IL2.... :hmm:

*drools*

BTW, new soundmod for BoBII just released. Sounds great, especially the fly-by's.

Lol

Just booted up BoBII with the latest BDG patch and Multi-skin and took a Spit out for a fly from Bognor Regis over Portsmouth and then onto the Isle of Wight, took her over Cowes and then buzzed the Needles lighthouse before setting down at a small airbase just outside Portsmouth, looking at Google Earth it must be RAF Lee On Solent.

Throughly relaxing flight, had the canopy open most of the way, just the sound of the Merlin and the wind to keep me company.

Landed her without any trouble either....

Such a change from Il2, and that's with realistic FM on too

I should have come back to BoBII earlier...

Thanks for getting me back into the air Dowly!

No problems, mate. Never done a scenic ride in BoB II. Just might try one.
