Ok, same exact mission but with rough seas and thunder, moderate whitecaps.
Surfaced, took the DDs slightly longer to get me in their searchlights but when they did, I was fired on almost immediately. DDs moved to get into better position to attack. Only when I got too close to the merchant did they stop firing. I turned away from the merchant and I started getting hit again. As I swung around away from the merchant, a DD came in and rammed me. The ONLY thing I saw go wrong during this whole mission was that after ramming me, the DD broke in half and blew up (that was NOT right) and I was damaged BUT not sinking.... JIM
