Specifically is this a recent thing with subsim?
My no script blocker has flagged subsim as having scripts that are 'blocked' see here: this is either caused by an update to noScript or something new to subsim. The bit which seems to be listed is assoc-amazon.com. I'm not all that bothered, but it's something I only noticed today.
